Resides: Bio:Dave started in Karts at age 20 but never had the money to find out if he was competitive or not. He stayed with Karts for 5 years with varying results including some round wins in International Class ---Heavy. Dave then gave the Karts away and only got the bug again when I heard about the Daewoo series (1 make racing). Dave felt this was another opportunity to race but in a more closely controlled field of similar cars. Starting in 2002 he spent 3 years racing in this category and won the Championship in 2004. By winning Dave was entitled to race in the Lotus Trophy series as part of the Chance of a Lifetime race team for Mopro Australia. He finished 5th in this series in 2005 and was happy with that result. At this point he looked to be hanging up the helmet but when he heard Derryn was racing and establishing ICON Motorsport he became interested enough to want to watch them and help where I can on race day. Career highlights Leading the Wakefield 500 with Derryn Harrison until the wheel fell off…literally.
Current Driving Situation Lotus experience drive day tuition for Mopro.
