Contact: Ben Gower Bio: After four years of advertising sales and marketing with in the telecommunications Industry Ben has joined Icon Motorsport to bring his valuably learnt sales skills and marketing skills to an industry he has a life long love for. Ben has assisted the team by coordinating the culmination of corporate sponsors, developing awareness, marketing and events as well as getting his hands dirty during the course of a race weekend or test day. The is no doubt Ben will hang up the tie to jump in and perform duties in the proceedings with in the team and hope that one day he also gets to take the wheel and prove his worthiness on the track. Growing up around Brad, motor sport has been a vital life essential and will for ever be at the top of Bens priorities when it comes to having fun and being involved. When not at the track, you will find Ben guitar in hand on another venture, this being the struggling life to becoming a rock star. Ben will continue to pursue both dreams as he feels it’s his only sanity in life saying, “I spend so much time with my guitar because it doesn’t talk back”, also trying to persuade Brad that it’s not his fault the other cars are quicker than him, aiming to beat some mongrel into the newly formed racer. Brads influence on Ben brings Father and son together joining the two by a mutual life long destiny in the motor sport industry. Ben will for ever be greatful to the Icon Team for giving him the opportunity to live his dream and participate in his fathers dreams in becoming the next Mark Webber (even if he has a long way to go). With Ben and Brian Morleys’ tutoring Ben will eventually get the Skill set and mind set to adding more to the team not only in the garage but around the paddock. He also thanks The Morleys for helping his awareness around the cars, because with out their knowledge and skills the Icon Motorsport team would not be what it is today.
