Contact: Adam Bio: Recently moved here from the UK, Adam has had a lot of passion for motorsport but not always the budget. Having competed at local level during his early teens in Indoor karting he was unable to secure a budget capable to take things to the next level, Adam’s next step in motorsport was acquiring his UK racing licence in 2002. After purchasing his own Van Dieman and having no technical understanding of it, he entered one race at Oulton Park, only to have the clutch plate break on lap 3. His second race wasn’t started as he couldn’t figure out why the car wouldn’t start! On his third race, he started but was then taken out by another competitor on lap 3 – seems to be something with that number! Since 2002, Adam had not been on a race track. In February of 2008, he completed the Peter Finlay Racing Drivers Course at Oran Park, graduating with an A+ grade. This year will see Adam for the first time join Icon Motorsport, learn new tracks and drive a new car as well as entering in the NSW Formula Ford 1600 Championship. Lots of challengers but he is upbeat about the season ahead. “I’m very pleased to have Icon Motorsport involved.
