Top 5 the desired result for SWR and Rudolph at Eastern Creek:

Stubbies Workwear Racing driver Dane Rudolph will this weekend (September 24 & 25) contest the sixth and final round of the NSW Formula Ford series at Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway and a top 5 result is what the SWR team have their sights set on.
Currently Rudolph, 19, is placed ninth outright in the series standings with a total of 155 points and a strong result this weekend will top off what has been a character building year for both him and the entire SWR team.

“Yeah, it’s quite disappointing to be unable to do any testing, because they have been very beneficial for me and the entire team in the past,” Rudolph said. “Since the last round we have looked back at our data and gathered all our thoughts. On Friday for practice we will get out there and do as many laps as possible in order to prepare ourselves for the weekend.”
Despite his SWR team being hampered by teething problems throughout the year, Rudolph is quietly confident of getting amongst the top 5 this weekend.
“There is no doubt that we are capable of being a top 5 contender and we have shown our potential on a number of occasions this year,” said an upbeat Rudolph. “We just have to turn our potential into results out on the track and with Eastern Creek being a fast flowing layout it will suit us as our engine package is quite strong.”
Rudolph is primed to finish off the NSW series with a strong performance for the SWR team this weekend.
“It hasn’t been all plain sailing for us (SWR) this year, but I have learnt so much this year not just at the track, but away from it too,” explained Rudolph. “The professionalism of the SWR Team is perhaps the best of any other Formula Ford outfit in the country and our major sponsor, Stubbies Workwear, have been wonderful supporters.”
